Bullet Trap System for small and large calibre
Standard steel system with bullet trap plates and granulate filling made of Shootstop CP95
The ST37 (5mm) steel bullet trap systems are powder-coated in gray. The containers have screwed-on lids for filling with granules. The front plates are made of Shootstop CP95 bullet granulate. The fastening of the front plates is chosen to be very narrow and is covered by the front plates in front of it. The front plates are on top of each other and are screwed to the Shootstop CP 95 material. There are no metal parts on the front that could cause ricochets. The boxes are filled with Shootstop CP95 granulate.
The Shootstop CP95 bullet trap system can be supplied as a system in combination with bullet boxes with upstream bullet trap plates and Shootstop CP95 granulate filling for the standard steel containers with filling spouts and side plate fastenings. For small-caliber fire, the 40mm plates should be used as pre-screwed bullet trap plates in front of the standard containers. For large-caliber fire, we recommend the 50mm thick bullet trap plates made of CP95.
The Shootstop CP95 bullet trap granulate is suitable as an embankment granulate with an inclination angle of up to 25 degrees for indoor and outdoor areas. Shootstop CP95 meets current fire protection requirements as it is not spherical, does not form nests and is flame-retardant according to DIN 4102 B1 and DIN EN 53438-2 K1.
The emission-free, lead dust-free and flame-retardant Shootstop CP95 bullet trap granulate is a new development for all shooting ranges. With regard to environmental friendliness, recycling, low levels of pollutants and low flammability, all EU shooting range requirements (private as well as official) are met since 2018. Shooting range experts also rate Shootstop CP95 positively and see it as an efficient solution for fulfilling the EU shooting range requirements.
Our Shootstop CP95 granulate is a bullet trap system in the form of a granulate, rod-shaped, trickling in a restrictive manner. Shootstop 95 bullet trap granulate is also available in cast form as plates of different thicknesses. After being shot through with hot bullets, these bullet trap plates close themselves.
The 500mm container depth is deliberately chosen so that the bullets never reach the rear wall in any case of fire. The bursting bullets would contaminate the granulate. Lead dust, cadmium and other impurities that make the reusability of the granulate unusable or harmful to health after sieving out the projectiles are thus avoided. For the sieving process, the containers standing on socles are opened by loosening the lower plate. The granulate with the captured bullets trickles through a sieve into a collecting container. After a cleaning sieving process, the granulate is refilled via the screwed-on filling nozzle in the container lid.
